Do you need to get fit quickly? Here's how to do it with a combination of weight training, moderate intensity cardio and speed interval work. It's not easy, but you only have to do 5 days a week because it will fatigue you. It's not suitable for absolute beginners. 2 days each week. Solid weight training workout for at least 45 minutes, full-body exercises to near failure. 3 days each week. Moderate intensity cardio workout at about 70-80% of your maximum heart rate for 30 minutes. Aerobic gym workout or spin session, running, fast bike ride. 2 days each week. High-intensity interval training for 30 minutes. Run for 15 to 20 seconds to reach 90-95% of maximum heart rate, rest or walk for 2 minutes, repeat. That's 7 sessions, so you will have to double up on two days. You can mix weights and cardio in a circuit or do various combinations of all the above. Take more time between intervals if you need it.
