How to Build Lean Muscle and Be Healthier!
Whether you are new to exercising on a regular basis or strive to include exercise into your daily lifestyle, strength training can be a very beneficial exercise to start. Forget images of massive body builders; you don’t have to be muscle-bound to strength train! As a matter of fact, strength training can be very beneficial for everyone, regardless of sex, age or gender. Not only will strength training help improve your overall fitness levels, there are a number of other health benefits as well. For example, strength training allows you to use the muscles you have in order to avoid losing them. By strengthening your muscles every day, you are reinforcing existing muscle mass and working towards building additional lean muscle mass. Additionally, strength training can help improve the strength of your bones; increase your endurance and stamina and can also help reduce the risk of exercise-related injuries. If you aren’t sure where to begin, check out your local gym for an idea of the types of resistance machines they offer. You can also purchase a variety of resistance bands from your local fitness store if you prefer to strength train in the comfort of your own home. Check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program, but once you’re cleared you can begin strength training to help build lean muscle mass and be healthy! Start slowly at first, and give your muscles a full day of rest between each exercise. Good luck, and have fun!
